Parenting Classes
In these classes, we will teach parents general parenting skills to help them maintain and develop positive relationships with their children.
Monitored Visitation
A monitored visitation occurs when a parent is only allowed to visit his or her child under the supervision of another individual, such as a family member or a social worker.

Our Company History
Social Resources Connection, Inc. was founded in 2007 by Yvonne Rodriguez, LCSW, in Los Angeles County. Yvonne Rodriguez has firsthand experience of the devastating effects of anger and its effects on children, families, and communities. SRC wants families connected and protected from others through education, cognitive behavioral therapy, and a nonjudgmental, “whatever it takes” attitude.
Yvonne Rodriguez had the vision to eliminate the trauma that is done due to uncontrolled anger. She continues to see how trauma and the effects of unmanaged anger affect everyone that is directly or indirectly involved. Through these years, Yvonne has learned that her business needed to continuously evolve to meet the needs of communities with more support services.
Due to the complex, interwoven emotion anger brings, many other services were needed to support families. Therefore in the efforts to keep the mission “Families connected and protected” at the forefront, other services were manifested.
These services include individual therapy, family therapy, parenting classes, monitored visitation, and corporate presentations to increase mental health awareness and its impact on work-life. During this time, Social Resources Connection grew to provide services in the Inland Empire.
MORE ON OUR FOUNDER
Yvonne Rodriguez is a mother of five. She is a graduate of the California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) with a Master’s in Social Work. Yvonne also graduated from Xavier University with a second Master’s in Criminal Justice.
Yvonne has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2002. She has worked in nonprofits from Los Angeles County, Orange County, and Riverside County for over 20 years, in which she excelled as an educator by helping individuals with mental illness live up to their full potential.

Her work has included counseling adults, children, and families in different settings and training school personnel and local businesses in areas of mental health. In addition, she continues to work with patients and their families at Torrance Memorial Hospital in Torrance, California.
Social Resources Connection is the result of many years of research and practical application in both psychological and trauma evidence-based modalities. Yvonne describes her work as a 'strength-based' approach based on educating families in order to deal with the difficulties associated with anger and major, life-changing events such as divorce, violence, and life transitions.

Yvonne's core strategies for SRC were born out of her work as an LCSW, a mom, a foster parent, and a child advocate. She sees the need to make services available to families to help inform and educate parents on how to parent with awareness, deal with anger, and live to their full potential through awareness and self-growth.
Social Resources Connection was created out of a desire to help others discover and practice what is best for their family, their child, and for themselves as a parent and individual to reach their full potential.
Mission Statement
Social Resources Connection is an organization dedicated to helping families stay connected and protected. We seek to restore life balance, family unity, and internal peace. We are dedicated to serving all persons to ensure individual growth by helping them decrease conflict, eliminate barriers, and reach their full potential.
